Born in Paris in 1872, he dedicated his artistic life to the demanding work of aquatint etchings, at which he became a master. All but forgotten for years, he was rediscovered in the last 25 years and today is in great demand. His hauntingly beautiful images of women, of all walks of life, capture the time and style of Belle Epoque Paris. His aquatints were printed at the famous atelier of Sagot in Paris.
