Painter, sculptor, engraver, ceramist. For many, the dominant figure of 20th century art. Born in Barcelona, he moved to Paris when he was 20. He remained even in old age obstinately youthful and prodigiously productive. He made over 2,000 etchings and 150 linoleum cuts.
